Your Pupillage Application
Applications for pupillage at Fahri, Azzat & Co. are to be made using this form and sent to our Senior Clerk, Baharudin Lajan via e-mail titled ‘Pupillage Application’. Please note that we do not consider CVs and covering letters.
All applications are sifted on an anonymised basis. These applications are scored by reference to set criteria. These reflect our pupillage selection criteria as detailed in the previous section. Each application is reviewed by at least 2 assessors, who will score the application independently. If you are invited for an interview then at that stage we will ask you to arrange for 2 academic references to be sent to the Firm.
It is not necessary to have undertaken a mini-pupillage in the Firm, although we encourage those with an interest in pupillage at this Firm to apply to do so. Successful pupillage candidates who have not done a mini-pupillage may be invited to do a short, non-assessed mini-pupillage in the Firm in order to help them decide whether to take up a pupillage offer.
For now, there is no specific timetable in which one should apply for pupillage. We are currently not accepting applications.

NOTE: Candidates who have applied previously are welcome to apply again but we would recommend that they only do so if they can demonstrate that their application is materially different from their previous application. Material changes might include significantly higher than predicted academic results, recent high level mooting success and/or further experience which is highly relevant to the pupillage selection criteria.
